Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Brindley Ford, Stoke On Trent
Key Skills:
- Ability to create and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD LT
- Competent working with Office 365 or Google Workspace
- Proven ability to diagnose faults and solve problems with an electromechanical bias
- Minimum electrical competency at City & Guilds 18th Edition level
- Ability to read and interpret digital process trends
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Awareness of legislation, regulations and standards that are relevant to the job
- Provide technical support to Engineering Team throughout the duration of a project
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Effective Time Management
- Good Organisational Skills
- Good Customer Service Skills
- Full Driving Licence
Experience:
- Industrial electrical & maintenance experience
- Siemens and/or Allen Bradley and/or Mitsubishi PLC/SCADA product experience
- Electrical design experience
- Commissioning and projecting experience
- Instrumentation setup and calibration experience
- Experience working with VSDs and Softstarts
- Experience in PLC / Scada design
Responsibilities:
- To help the Engineering Team ensure that customer expectations are met
- Work professionally to represent the company’s interests alongside customers and contractors
- Use company-specified tools to accurately record time spent on site and on production tasks
- Complete project documentation on time and to company standards, i.e. checklists, method statements, risk assessments, electrical drawings etc
- The planning, design and construction of projects of all sizes
- To provide clients with technical expertise on project aspects
- Conduct research on current trends in engineering technology to identify new techniques that may improve project efficiency and / or performance
- Observe company / site specific health and safety regulations and report any deviation
- Provide 24-hour phone and breakdown support during handover period with Support Team
- Visit sites in UK and overseas to help commission modifications and new systems
- Take help ensure that deadlines are met and escalate issues that could cause them to be missed
- Ensure all work carried out is compliant with the company standards
- To help develop less experienced Engineering Team members
